Notes
This type 2 version of the Petrol Tank Wagon has an original green and black finish. Of course, never individually boxed, so models of this era would have been sent to the shopkeeper in trade boxes.
Original ‘WAKEFIELD CASTROL MOTOR OIL’ transfers are clear and easily legible with a little marking. Smooth black wheels and thick axles. Black tyres are well-shaped and run easily. Complete with an intact radiator and headlight assembly. 20 mph label is still present at the rear.
Type 2.
A few small marks to the paint finish as you might expect for what is essentially an unboxed model, some 80n years or so old. Model is sound with no fatigue or crazing.
Hard to find in this condition.
