Early 1970’s unused point of sale Corgi Display Stand in brightest yellow with the familiar Corgi Dog logo and ‘CORGI JUNIORS’ upright print. Promoting ‘Whizzwheels’.
40 small rectangular sections in order to display a a range of Corgi Junior models. Outer clear plastic cover still firmly attached.
Looking day-one bright and fresh with no tears or damage whatsoever. It is obvious that this display item lay forgotten in the Corgi stock room and then has remained largely untouched once in Monty’s possession!
The stand measures approx. 55.5cms x 56cms.
Reverse:
Nice to see that the outer box is present and includes most of the Mettoy Address Label on one side and the shop address in Lymington, Hampshire on the other.
Some storage wear to the box. Also included are two the wall fixing screw hooks and Instruction Leaflet. The Display Stand may either be affixed to a wall or used on a counter top.
