A rare find indeed – this is the first Husky Stand we have offered for sale. This attractive carousel came to light during the packing up of an old toy shop. Measuring approx. 68cms tall, including the detachable sign, this display stands has a heavy weight metal base, with steel tracks for the Husky models to be displayed. Central cylindrical piece is finished in red and would appear to be made from a heavy duty card.
Sign affixed to the top is original and shows models from the Husky range. At some point a period Corgi Junior label has been over stuck, so we assume that it was still in use during 1970 during the changeover from Husky to Junior models.
