Notes
Many items from this collection were bought new during the 1960?s, after enquiring in toyshops for old, unsold shop stock.
Issued between 1956-59. Original pale green finish, cast green hubs, complete with driver, red interior, black steering wheel. Looks unused with none of the expected wear to the paint finish at exposed edges.
Couple of very minor marks and a curious daub of greenish-black paint on the underside of the model.
The plain box is a more difficult find. No picture of the model on the box but on the underside, there is some printed information on the real Connaught. Day-one bright colours on crisp clean card. Minor handling wear (ruffling at some edges and a ‘start of a tear’ at a couple of end flap edges).
Shopkeeper’s pencilled price at an end flap. Little corner crumple.
