D470
Dinky 470 Austin Van "SHELL". Very near mint/boxed. From The Buckinghamshire Collection.
Notes
Many items from this collection were bought new during the 1960?s, after enquiring in toyshops for old, unsold shop stock.
This Dinky advertising van is in fine, all-original condition, with complete ‘SHELL’ and ‘BP’ transfers on both sides and at the rear. This model has a gleaming bright paint finish. Baseplate is shiny. None of the usual chipping at the front bumpers or indeed on the bonnet centre line or on the raised roof detail!
Hard to find this good:
Just three little marks at the rear of the van.
The pictorial card box is bright and complete. Minor rubbing at edges and slight grubbiness. Period pencilled price at an end flap.
