Now here’s a rare Dinky commercial – so often missing from even the most extensive Dinky collections! The last version to be made for a short time in 1964, this truck has a deep blue cab and chassis with a light yellow band around the cab, light yellow back (rivetted) and red plastic wheels. Only the second we have ever offered for sale.

At first (and even second) glance, this model looks mint and has a fine lustre to the paint finish. Minute scrutiny reveals a stray run of factory yellow in one small place. It is a pool of original paint which makes it look darker. Also a similar mark on on the opposite side of the yellow back (really difficult to see).
We stress that this is an original item throughout.
Little mark at two wheel arches and a couple on the petrol tank. Couple of very minor marks on the bed, one little mark on the yellow paint on one side. Couple of minuscule dots near the tow hook.
The box is superb and fresh, looking like old shop stock. Minor rubbing to the underside of the box base and a little minor stain at a box lid end.
A high profile, sought-after Dinky commercial truck in sparkling, close to perfect condition!
