D465
Dinky 465 Morris Commercial Van "CAPSTAN". Very near mint/boxed. From The lifetime's collection in Heart of England.
Notes
Issued during 1959 only, this is one of the harder-to-find advertising vans made by Dinky during this period. This Morris van has a two-tone blue paint finish with mid blue wheels. In all original, superb condition with the distinctive “Have a Capstan” transfers on both sides.
A premium classic Dinky model for your collection – and one of the finest we have sen in a while:
Couple of tiny dots to the transfer on one side, there is a small casting mark on the roof and couple of very small marks besides.
Outstanding lustre.
The pictorial card box is close to perfect with day-one bright colours and a crisp feel to the card. Crease on the underside. Minor wear besides. It is hard to believe that this box is 52 years old!
