D470
Dinky 470 Austin Van "SHELL". Very near mint /boxed. From The Netherlands Collection.
Notes
This Dinky advertising van is another beautiful display piece, with a vibrant, glossy green and red paint finish, with complete ‘SHELL’ and ‘BP’ transfers on both sides, and at the rear.
Bright baseplate. None of the usual chipping at the front bumpers. Minor rough casting on the roof in one small area. This example is happily free of the near-obligatory rub at the roof detail!Just a few tiny marks at the rear away from mint!
The pictorial card box is bright and complete, with all end flaps intact. Storage crumple on the box underside and a little handling ruffling at at an end flap edge. No graffiti.
Very nice!
