A popular French die-cast model maker, CIJ (Compagnie Industrielle du Jouet) produced a range of die-cast vehicles during the 1950?s ? 1960?s.
A scarce promotional item and a stunning example!
THis Renault 1000KGS Truck is in very close to mint condition with a gleaming lustrous original paint finish with perfect – very close to perfect lettering and delicate transfers throughout.
Just a few minor marks and a little trace of residue in some crevices (traces of polish) which has been removed since the pictures were taken.
The ‘SHELL’ promotional card box is clean, crisp and bright, although there is a little area of surface removal at an end flap.
