D942
Dinky 942 Foden 14-Ton Tanker 'REGENT'. Near mint /boxed.
Notes
This shining bright tanker was issued during 1955 (Dinky stamp inside the box lid). Complete ‘REGENT’ lettering on both sides and no dents or crazing to the tank.
Rear label is fine too:
A couple of minor rubs to the white side stripe and a little discolouration is noted at the stripe immediately behind the cab.
This tanker has had careful handling so any marks to the paint finish are extremely minor. Several tiny retouches at wheel arches ( really difficult to see unless you are looking for them). Presents very well indeed with a shiny black intact ladder. Bright baseplate.
The striped Supertoys box is brightly-coloured and complete. No splits or repairs. Minor handling/age grubbiness and very minor scuffing on the base has been made less obvious with a little blue pen marking.
Shopkeeper’s faintly pencilled price at one end.
