C203
Corgi 203 Vauxhall Velox Saloon. Very near mint/boxed, with colour promotional booklet.. Scarce CREAM version with original silver detailing on bonnet. Superb, fresh example in a close to pristine early box. From the Italian collection.
Notes
Issued between 1956-61. Straight from a private collection, this model is in all-original condition, and a more difficult find in this eye-catching rich cream finish (not the lemon-yellow finish!) with silver fluting on the bonnet. Flat spun wheels and a shining tinplate baseplate. A bright paint finish and of course, the eye-catching silver detail on the bonnet, radiator and bumpers is all original and gleaming bright!
One little mark on the baseplate rim and a couple of the tiniest dots besides. Period Corgi accessory white wall wheel trims have been added. _ In impressive, all original condition_. Obviously, this car has spent most of its fifty + years in its vivid crisp box.
So difficult to find these early blue boxes in this condition. Crisp, clean and bright with plenty of spring in the end flaps. Minor handling grubbiness only.
Complete with the early colourful promotional booklet too:
A beautiful early Corgi model on display.
