Notes
A scarce issue made during 1954-55. This Guy Flat Truck has a vivid red cab and chassis, mid blue back, mid-blue ridged hubs. Large painted hook. Second type cab so this model has triangular lugs at either side of the front number plate.
Few litle marks as you would expect.
One has to inspect extremely closely to notice the extra light flick of well-matched red paint which helps to blend in a little scuff at a wheel arch. Little dab of paint on a door and head-on.
A very difficult find in any condition.
Axles, bolt fixing and baseplate are shiny. Bright silver radiator and lights. Paint finish is vibrant and glowing. Complete with spare wheel.
Marked Dinky Toys on the base.
The blue and white striped picture box is complete and bright with no splits. Faint shopkeeper’s price at one end. Rusty staples.
Minor age wear. Correct original red spot at the lid end. Dinky stamp inside the box lid dates this model from 1955.
A fine example of a sought-after Dinky commercial truck.
