Notes
This De Soto Fireflite Police car was made between 1960-61 (first issue in the range from Dinky). Glossy black paint finish, white front doors, red roof light, intact straight aerial, shaped spun wheels with suspension. Shiny black baseplate (there is a small area of sticker residue on the baseplate probably due to the removal of a shop sticker or similar, easily removed). Complete ‘POLICE’ labels on bonnet, doors and boot.
The box is really crisp, fresh and bright, feeling like old shop stock. Small pen smudge on the top surface.
Not an easy find.
