D153
Dinky 153 Standard Vanguard Saloon. Very, very near mint/boxed. Mid-blue issue with the more unusual cream wheels. Museum-grade quality from the Heart of England collection.
Notes
Issued between 1954-60, this model is an outstanding example with a day-one bright lustre on the bright mid-blue finish with cream hubs. Closed in rear wheel spats. Stunning, all-original condition. This model presents so well with its classic lines:
Upon the most minute inspection, an occasional little side raised body line rub may be seen (due to box contact), and that’s it!
The box is extremely fresh and clean with the most vivid colours. Correct colour spot at the end flaps, too. No graffiti.
One of the best we have seen.
