Straight from a private collection, this is quite a dazzling array of Chivers Vans, unsold shop stock, and not a later ‘made-up’ set.
Issued between 1953-54.
Each van is in all original condition with near perfect -perfect distinctive detailed transfers on both sides.
One will find some chipping at exposed edges as well as some minor wear to some transfers. Condition ranges from excellent plus-near mint.
They are housed in the original Dinky Trade Box. Some wear to the box including rubbing at edges, crumpling, ruffling and a very small puncture. No seam splits. Grubbiness.
Card dividers have been used to keep the models from chipping each other.
A rare find.
