A very popular Dinky toy at the time and now with collectors! This particular issue is a scarce variation.
Finished in mid blue, with a paler blue back including the decks. With windows. “DINKY TOYS DELIVERY SERVICE” lettering on sides and back. Large baseplate print with 982 stamped on the trailer. Beautiful glossy sheen on this model shows that it has been handled only occasionally. Perfect lettering on both sides and at the rear. Bright untarnished metal parts.
There are a couple of the expected marks at the drop down hinged ramp. Few little marks besides. The cab (with window glazing) is virtually mint!
A very nice, unused example!
This particular box presentation is the first of this type we have seen. Note the additional information ‘With Windows’ along with the usual wording ‘Detachable Loading Ramp’.
It is bright, clean and complete with no graffiti. A little storage tear to the box base. Still looks very fresh!
Dinky 794 Loading Ramp is in close to perfect condition. Again, an unusual version without the lettering in black – just a delightful delicate ‘Meccano’ transfer in gold.
Housed in a slim yellow box which is so crisp and clean! Notably complete with all end flaps! Feels as if it has been opened only a couple of times.
A beautiful display piece!
