Notes
This rare version is in all original condition with a distinctive light stone cab, green back with black ‘DINKY SERVICE’ lettering. Red ridged wheels and smooth black tyres, metal winding handle and cuff. Complete with a working tow hook.
The first we have ever offered for sale. An exciting find!
The cab is in near mint condition with only a few very minor marks. The green back has more marking and there is a small casting defect at one side edge. A little rustiness to the winding handle but the cuff is bright. Bright base.
The bright yellow and dark blue lift-off lid picture box is complete with no splits or repairs. Some edge rubbing in places. Rust staining from the staples on the inside of the box base.
An exceptionally scarce item – we do not expect to see another for a long time. Rare to come to the market place.
