C218
Corgi 218 Aston Martin D.B.4. Near mint plus/boxed. Yellow version with flat spun wheels. Open vent. From a very fine private Cheshire collection.
Notes
Issued between 1961-62, this is the early version of the Aston Martin, with a fresh, shining primrose yellow finish, red interior and bright flat spun wheels with suspension. Open vent on the bonnet on these early issues too.
A very attractive example in all original condition, with just a couple of tiny dots to the paint finish, very, very minor rough casting on the roof, and a couple of little chips at the rear bumper.
The box is complete, crisp and quite brightly-coloured, with a crisp feel. Some age grubbiness and light ‘speckling’ to the print (as-made). Minor handling wear. No tears. Shopkeeper’s pencilled price at an end flap.
Corgi Club Membership Form (Swansea) is included.
