A delightful item from Dinky made between 1967-68 only, inspired by the comic “Candy”. All original and complete. The Mini Minor is in white finish with candy stripes overlaid, jewelled headlights , “CANDY 1” number plates at front and rear, suspension on shaped spun wheels. A few tiny marks to the delicate stripes – but really this is very close to mint. All four figures of Candy, Andy and the two Bearandas(!) are in place on the colurful detailed card display stand with the shop window as the backdrop. This display is in mint condition, save for a little of the most minor wear at one wheel slot. Superb example.
The colourful pictorial outer box is bright, fresh and complete. A little minor wear at one end flap and a small area of surface loss due to the removal of a price label. It comes complete with the card packing piece which fits over the car and figures in the box.
All in all, a joy to behold – and very rarely seen in this condition.
