Issued between 1956-59. Very fresh, dark red original paint finish on this ESSO Tanker, with distinctive detailed small ‘ESSO’ labels complete on both sides and rear:

Vertical section of the silver ladder is bright horizontal section has some tarnishing in places. Occasional little mark to the paint finish at the sides . Lovely vivid deep red finish is lustrous throughout – indeed the cab is virtually mint. Spare wheel still in place. Shiny baseplate. Obviously, this truck has barely been out of its box.
The deep yellow card pictorial box looks outstandingly fresh and crisp with bright , clean colours. Although it does have a small tear on one seam. Indeed, these French Dinky boxes are often found in poor condition – this is one of the best we have seen despite the tear!
