Notes
Quite simply, the nicest example of this most interesting Dinky truck, issued between 1964-69. Complete with all three removable ballast weights, the propellor shafts on the underside rotate when the truck is moving along – just like the real thing! The weights are nearly always quite heavily chipped and they also tend to mark the silver chassis. This example is absolutely superb; one or two micro-dots only and barely any marking to the chassis at all. If you have been waiting for the best example around, then this may very well be it! Bright fresh “Leyland On Test” paper labels on the cab. Complete with driver and steering wheel. It even has some old wrapping tissue paper which we believe is original for this model.
The colourful and detailed pictorial box is in tip-top condition too, with scarcely any age wear at all and none of the usual rubs/wear at corners.
A lovely example through and through!
