Notes

This version has a fresh lemon and red finish with flat spun wheels. In close to mint condition with a few miniscule marks only. In all original condition throughout, this fine Corgi car has had careful handling only:

Note the bulge on the baseplate on this version, more commonly found on mechanical models:

Originally Corgi intended to issue a mechanical version (hence the bulge) but this was never issued. This is not a mechanical version but has the baseplate that would have been used if such a model were produced. An interesting and scarce issue therefore.
The powder blue box is complete and vividly-coloured. No tears, but rather grubby now with some of the usual rubing at seams.
