Issued between 1962-70, this item is part of the much-loved Chipperfields range of models – and in exceptional condition too! The Bedford TK tractor unit with trailer is as nice as you will find; such a vivid glowing red finish, lovely cast wheels, clean and complete paper labels throughout and a bright blue back (often they appear a lot paler than this!).

Any little marks are as a result of opening and closing the hinged doors (hard to imagine how this could be avoided). Notably, both of the wing mirrors are present and complete with the little ‘reflective’ pieces. The item comes with the full complement of six grey horses, all still individually wrapped in the original card packing (not often found like this!).
The card plinth is clean and bright, with both pull-out end tabs firmly in place and tear-free. A little of the expected marking from the model and the occasional little ruffle, as well as a couple of very small tears at one wheel slot.

Nice to see that this item still has its large white card packing piece – so often discarded!

The outer box is complete, bright and clean. Crisp feel to the card.

A very small and hard to notice surface scuff (probably picked up during storage)and a few small grubby marks. Colours are notably day-one bright; this is a fitting partner for this fine Bedford Transporter.
