Issued between 1965-69, this Mini has a vibrant sea-green finish, ‘wood panelling’, yellow interior, jewelled headlights, aerial, chrome roof-rack with two surf boards, and surfing figure.
Suspension on shaped spun wheels.
Upon close examination, you will see that there is a small split to the front of the roof rack with some loss of chrome finish at this site and a glue repair. Couple of very small areas of chrome loss on the roof rack besides.
Few small marks at the rear opening doors.
When both surf boards are in place, the damage to the roof rack is not immediately obvious, so this Mini model presents well with a fine, largely unmarked paint finish, straight aerial and jewelled lights. Original surfer and surf boards are all present!
The colourful pictorial box is extremely fine, with strong vivid colours, clean and fresh. Minor crease, very light wear only. Exceptional condition; looks close to shop-fresh! Old U.S. shop label at an end flap.
