Certainly this is one of the best Corgi James Bond collections there is – and we are fortunate to be selling the premium pieces from this impressive collection, which includes some very sought-after items.
This James Bond Citroen 2CV is number 5 of just 12 which were gold-plated, produced as a special promotion to tie in with the most successful shop sales in 1981.

In very near mint, unused condition (couple of tiny marks only), and presented in a virtually pristine box with detachable header card (no crease at box reverse!). Intact original cellophane. Hard to find these window boxes so fresh and undamaged!

Small instruction slip is included:

as are the two fixings which hold the car in place inside the box.

A wonderful example which comes complete with the Strada headed letter which confirms that this James Bond model was gold plated by them. Letter is dated September 1981 and is enclosed in the original envelope too.

More rare items to come from this exciting collection, sought-after due to the rarity of some of the items, the condition of the models, and notably the boxes too.
