A classic Dinky advertising van made between 1955-58. This model is precisely dated November 1955 from the Dinky stamp inside the lid. A beautiful display piece in all original condition. Bright red and yellow finish shows barely any marks at all (under critical scrutiny, you will find a couple of minor marks at the rear opening door handles and one of the door brackets, one little dot on the yellow box van roof, and a dot or two besides, including a little rub or two at the front bumper). All in all, this is a very fine example. The distinctive transfers are perfect on both sides. Obviously, this model has been carefully handled and stored.
The original box is a fitting partner – so fresh and bright with no splits or graffiti (unless you count the faintly pencilled shopkeeper’s price at one end of the lid). Such vivid clean colours! Only minor wear.
