A classic Dinky advertising van made between 1955-58. This model is dated 1955 from the Dinky stamp inside the lid. Many items were bought as unsold shop stock by this U.S. collector decades ago. This is a very fine example. The distinctive transfers are virtually perfect on both sides. Obviously, this model has been carefully handled and stored. In all original condition.
It is hard to find a mark on this model. Just a couple of minor marks at the rear door handles and a faint rub to one rear wheel arch. Very small casting mark at a front wing on the red cab (easily missed). Roof is fine!
The original box is fresh and bright with no splits or graffiti. Such vivid clean colours! U.S. export label is bright, clean and complete. Remains of a price label at this site which may be carefully removed. Pencilled price at one end.
