Such an attractive item from Dinky, made between 1960-64. This particular model is dated 1960 (Dinky stamp on the inside of the box lid). The model is in two-tone yellow and orange and at first glance looks virtually mint. However, upon closest examination a few little paint retouches may be seen (i.e. at a wheel arch and at a couple of body lines). Some tarnishing to the winding handle cuff. Bright baseplate and notably perfect ‘Dinky Toys’ and ‘Meccano’ lettering.

All three plastic pallets are included and the mechanism works well when the handle is turned, moving the sliding interior platforms so that goods (in this case the pallets) may be loaded and unloaded more easily.

The striped SUPERTOYS outer box is bright complete. A little edge rubing (at corners mostly) and a puncture to the lid, caused by the winding handle.
The card packing piece is present and has a little pencilled numbering on the top surface.
An eye-catching display piece and great fun to use, especially if you have Dinky 401 Coventry Climax Fork Lift Truck which can be used with the pallets!
