First issued in 1968, this superb Chipperfields item contains a Scammell truck with three plastic cages containing two lions, two tigers and two bears. This example is in unused condition – with a bright red and blue paint finish, jewelled headlights and Chipperfields label at cab front.
The plastic cages are complete and intact with all animals still housed in their plastic ‘bubbles’. Looks like unsold shop stock:

Tiny mark to the top edge of the cab head-on, but probably as-made.
Complete with the little set of unused adhesive pads too.
The large cellophane-fronted box is in outstanding fresh and bright condition with the smooth original cellophane protected by the usually discarded Retailer Card:

Crisp and clean silky card shows minimal handling (tiny start of a tear at one end flap seam, fold at an end flap).
The polystyrene inner is in pristine condition.
Not an easy Chipperfields item to find.
