Notes
Issued between 1953-54, this second issue is finished in mid-blue with cast-in white racing driver and steering wheel. Blue ridged wheels and yellow racing numbers. Looks completely unused with a very close to perfect paint finish (you can find the occasional little mark if you really want to). Complete racing numbers, although there is a little scratch through the background to the transfer. Driver’s head is unscathed.
Bright baseplate and fresh-looking original black treaded tyres.
Very nice indeed – this model comes from a discerning French Dinky collector’s personal stash.
