Notes
Issued between 1956-61, this is another model from this Corgi collection, carefully assembled and painstakingly upgraded over decades. This is a more difficult find in all pale yellow finish (usual version has a red roof). Flat spun wheels and a bright tinplate baseplate (one rust spot). A bright paint finish and of course, the eye-catching silver details on the bonnet, radiator and bumpers are all original and gleaming bright!
Upon the closest inspection, a couple of negligible pinprick dots may be seen and there is a tiny rub at a rear wheel arch. Obviously, this car has spent most of its fifty+ years in its crisp, complete box.
Shopkeeper’s price at one end flap. Minor handling grubbiness. Vivid colours. Complete with the colour promotional booklet and scarce pink Corgi Club Membership Form.
A beautiful early Corgi model on display.
