This Guy Flat Truck has a distinct bright mid blue (not French or violet blue) and red finish, and light blue ridged wheels – an early issue from 1953-54, since it has its rear axle located in cast lugs, and no triangular lugs at side of the number plate.
At first glance this truck looks virtually mint. Upon closer inspection, one notices that there are a few retouches at cab roof, head-on and at wheel arches. The red back is very near mint and has no retouches. The baseplate is fresh and bright, complete with spare wheel. Bright silver radiator and lights.
The early blue box with a picture label is complete with no splits or graffiti. Vibrant colours, although the paper label has a few light rubs and is a rather grubby with some price label residue.
