Notes
This is a gleaming bright example of an early commercial Dinky made between 1948-52. Fresh first type dark green cab and chassis, bright mid green back, mid green ridged wheels, small tow hook.
Very bright and fresh baseplate:
Upon minute examination, a few small touch-ins may be found at wheel arches and two little dots on the roof.
The correct early buff card box looks very nice indeed with a vivid paper label. Some rusting at the staples and a small area of surface removal at one end, probably due to a price label. Small seam split in the base. Meccano Dinky Quality Control stamp on the base underside.
