Notes
An essential item in your Dinky commercial collection, this Guy van was made during Dinky’s heyday and is part of the sought-after range of advertising vans made during the mid-late 1950’s.
In very near mint, all original condition throughout, this ‘Ever Ready’ model has a shining mid-blue paint finish and beautiful detailed transfers on both sides and lettering above the cab, too.
You may find a near microscopic dot if you look closely enough, and there is what looks like a little paint defect at one rear door. None of the usual marks at door handles, wheel arches or roof. What a beauty! This van is in exceptional fresh and bright, unused condition throughout!
Bright baseplate with spare wheels stowed and bright metal parts generally.
The box is clean and bright with no splits or graffiti, save for a shopkeeper’s pencilled price at one end of the lid.
Some rubbing to the box base underside (shelf wear).
Dinky stamp inside the box lid dates this particular example from 1956.
An outstanding addition to your collection!
