Notes

This would have been a special treat indeed for some lucky little boy circa 1963! However, the contents of this set have barely been touched, so the boxes are really in day-one crisp condition, and exceptionally fresh.

It is a rare pleasure indeed to come across a set with the contents barely touched.
It comprises:

1) 1105 Bedford TK Tansporter is in very near mint condition. In as-made condition with a few marks.

It even has an original label giving instructions about lowering the deck which we have never seen before.

Sensational gleaming condition, although a few marks nonetheless. Needless to say, both wing mirrors are complete (including the additional ‘mirror’ pieces). Metal parts are extremely bright, Corgi Dog transfer is complete at the rear. Fine example.

2) Corgi 231 Triumph Herald Coupe in scarce gold and white. Outstanding example with one little mark at a rear wing tip. Crispest bright box!

3) Corgi 232 Fiat 2100. Mint example. A real showstopper! Box is as crisp as can be.

4) Corgi 234 Ford Consul Classic is in very near mint condition with a couple of tiny marks at one side. Crisp box!

5) Corgi 233 Heinkel Economy Car in the harder to find colour variation. Vivid and bright with a little box rub at both bumpers and a couple of pinprick dots besides. Box is as crisp and fresh as you could wish.

It is worth noting that none of the boxes have individual shop prices on them – another indication that these are the originals and this is not a later ‘made up’ set.

Complete with two ‘Dummy’ boxes as pictured looking so fresh and vibrant:

Box inner is very fresh with all requisite card packing looking so clean, crisp and bright.

The attractive pictorial card box is complete and vividly-coloured with no graffiti or repairs. A little scuff and a few small areas of surface removal at the sides of the lid. Tiny start of a tear at one corner of the lid. Box base is very clean and fresh with no sunfading, although there is a small puncture caused by the transporter. This has pressed back into place and is not really noticeable. Still, this box has survived better than most!

Deserves to be the centre piece of your Corgi display! A really exciting find in this condition.
