Notes
As pictured in The Great Book of Corgi (page 355). Just 10 14 Carat gold models were made. The first model was presented to Princess Anne at the premiere of the James Bond film ‘The Spy Who Loved Me’. Others were presented to Cubby Broccoli (director of the film), Roger Moore and other personalities at the Playboy Club after the premiere.
This model was actually the personal property of Marcel Van Cleemput and was auctioned through a London auction house several years ago.
The gold-plated Lotus Esprit model is mounted on a blue and black plinth which has a secret drawer containing the missiles. Instruction card present which details the working features of this model.
Model is in unused condition, although some tarnishing/rubbing has occurred with the passage of time. It is mounted on a mint plinth in a very near mint gold box.
A truly iconic Corgi James Bond item and a must for the serious Corgi and James Bond collector. Outstanding investment opportunity.
