This is a special item to add to your collection and a rare find in any condition. This particular example is part of an old shopkeeper’s unsold stock and has just a few negligible marks picked up during storage. Issued between 1952-54 as 29H, this item marks the transition to the new numbering 282 (stamped on the box). So this item can be dated from 1954. And what a fine example!
This version has a vivid deep green and cream finish with cream ridged wheels. Rib on the underside of the roof runs front to back.
The sturdy deep yellow trade box is complete and intact with no splits.
Note the dual numbering at the ends, both stamped and also written by the shopkeeper. Note too the Hudson Dobson export label. No dividers with this box.
