Notes
A fresh and bright example of this fine Dinky aircraft, issued between 1955-65, although this version with ‘G-ALYX’ lettering and in this colourful red and yellow picture box would be made toward the end of the production run.
This example has a close to flawless silky white and silver finish with notably complete transfers and lettering throughout. Particularly noteworthy are the tail fin transfers which are perfect (so often these flake off).
Just one little chip and a dot away from mint!
The attractive card box with a pictorial scene is clean, bright and intact. More unusual than the standard striped box.
Minor age wear only and a shopkeeper’s neat price of 7/- at one end. Nice to see that this example comes complete with the card packing ring (no tears).
