A first issue example from 1947-48 only, in the scarce maroon and black finish.
Generally in fine condition, it is upon close inspection that one will see some retouches to the cab roof area. Few marks/slight rubs besides. Nice bright axles. Spare wheel, small unpainted hook.
Correct early box with a bright if grubby paper label. Repaired split at one side. Shopkeeper’s price on one end.
This colour finish is a difficult find in any condition.
