Rare to come to the market-place. This early issue from 1935-37, is finished in deep maroon, stone and black. High-line version with complete ‘OVALTINE’ lettering and ‘BOVRIL’ at the sides. Complete delicate transfer at the rear for ‘BISTO’. Intact radiator and headlight assembly. ‘Mitcham’ destination front and rear. Wooden seating. Working clockwork function.
A fine display piece.
Barely a mark.
The distinctive card box is complete and bright. A few stain spots and a small end flap has been re-attached, end flap seam tear besides. With Minic Key.
