An original example of this classic Dinky Supertoy which was renumbered 971 in 1954.
This is the version that does not have ‘COLES’ lettering or indeed the chevron markings at the rear*. Deep yellow and matt black, with yellow grooved Supertoy wheels. With tan driver. Shiny winding handle cuffs.
The model is in close to mint condition. Original grey radial tyres have a very minor flat spot.
The striped Dinky Supertoys box (with upright print) is complete, clean, bright and fresh-looking. Original packing pieces are still present.
