Issued 1948-52, this scarce British heavyweight Foden Platform Lorry is finished in vibrant bright yellow, grey and red, with a red fuel tank. Beautifully constructed, this was part of a small range of diecast construction models made between 1948-52 by this British manufacturer. Sold with the necessary tools to take apart and rebuild, this Foden model measures 32cms x 9.5cms. approx. With Shackleton decorative transfer behind the cab applied a little higher (at the factory) than usual so lacks the top background section.
Working clockwork function.
Complete with spare wheel stowed underneath.

Occasional small mark to the paint finish.
Especially difficult to find with its distinctive sturdy colourful card box. A little wear particularly at edges as you might expect. R A little rusting at staples. Repair to a lid corner seam.
Original tools and key with plain buff card tray.

8-Ton Dyson Trailer in matching finish has a complete ‘Dyson’ transfer. Very close to mint condition with barely a mark. Colourful end flap box for the Trailer. Tear to an internal end flap as well as a tape repair to another.
