Notes

In bright red and white finish with complete racing numbers 177 on both doors (slight age transparency), complete with a chrome roof rack and two spare cast wheels. Suspension on all four detailed cast wheels. Six jewelled headlights/spotlights! ‘Monte Carlo’ label at front is perfect. Front number plate has the usual defect due to bonnet ridge (section at centre point has worn off). Rear decal/number plate has a little wear, but all is still clearly legible.

Try as I might, I cannot find a mark to the paint finish(!), perhaps the odd rub or two at the silver bumpers due to box contact. Nice to see that the white roof does not have nibbles/chips at edges, so presents very well especially with the bright chrome roof rack too.

The cellophane fronted box is bright and complete, although it does have a small crack in the original cellophane. Minor wear besides including a small start of a tear at an end flap seam.

Not often found with this model, is the 1967 Monte Carlo B.M.C. leaflet detailing the story of the rally. Club Membership Form on reverse.
