A scarce find! This Austin Metro model has a mint pale gold finish with a lemon interior. Opening doors and rear hatch. Whizzwheels. Black plastic moulded base.

The corgi gold Metro is a completely different casting to the production model, it has HL on the rear hatch and HL on the base, also no headrests. The production issues had headrests and HLS cast in, the actual body lines differ too. All in all an interesting model made for the dinner launch of the real Mini Metro
Presented in the more unusual flip-open promotional box which is complete, clean and bright. Note there is no mention of Corgi anywhere on the box.
