Corgi Toys 302 Hillman Hunter with Kangaroo

This Hillman Hunter ‘London To Sydney’ Marathon Winner has a very close to mint paint finish and a wealth of detail. Version with silver Golden Jacks.

Complete, with intact labels, and the original kangaroo figure.

Opening suitcase on the roof of the car, two spare wheels and a spotlight.

This example comes with the sheet of unapplied transfers and leaflet.

Inner box is clean & bright with the original kangaroo in place. Note there is a small repaired tear at one end.

1st issue outer box is brightly-coloured & complete. Quite a crisp feel. Intact original cellophane. Early issue box with the Corgi number printed on the box face. Note that this is the 1st issue box, so unlike the later issue, it has the Corgi number printed on the box face. Note too that the printed text in the red box on box top is slightly different and box underside has black printed details. Box reverse has ‘Mettoy-Playcraft Toys’ printed rather than ‘Playcraft’ printed. There may be other differences too!

The Hillman Hunter Rally Car was issued between 1969-72.
