Dinky Toys 176 Austin A105 Saloon
Austin A105 Saloon by Dinky Toys, No. 176 . Very, very near mint/boxed. Cream with blue flash. From The Anglo-French Collection.
Notes
In cream finish with a dark blue flash at the sides, cream hubs, this version of the Austin A105 Saloon was issued between 1958-59.
Interestingly, the Austin A105 was the first Dinky car to be made with window glazing.
This particular example has a virtually mint paint finish.
Such a pleasing sheen too!
Fine tread original tyres are well-shaped.
The baseplate is shiny (minor ‘spidering’).
The deep yellow picture box is complete and strongly-coloured, with the correct colour spot at the end flaps. Quite a crisp feel. Light wear/grubbiness.
