This is the scarce 1st issue version in the powder blue lift-off lid box and ‘PRATTS’ lettering on the Oil Bin.
This five piece set comprises:
1) 49a Bowser Petrol Pump, in green. Very near mint (original hook, remains of original hose).
2) 49b Wayne Petrol Pump in turquoise. Very near mint (original hook, remains of original hose).
3) 49c Theo Petrol Pump, in rich violet blue. Near mint plus (original hook, remains of rubber hose).
4) 49d Shell Petrol Pump, in brown EXcellent plus, with tiny crazing to the base and a couple of very small casting where the hose would insert is missing .
5) 49e ’PRATTS" Oil Bin, in in deep yellow, with complete lettering. Near mint.
Lift-off lid box has strong colours and there are no seam splits or repairs. Small area of surface loss (due to price label removal we expect) and a very small part-puncture.LIght edge rubbing as you might expect.
Complete with a very nice decorative card insert into which each item slots. Minor wear includes one tiny break.
