Notes
One of the most striking and memorable Corgi toys we have ever handled. This Corgi Chevrolet Corvette model is a show stopper in this lacquered intense orange-red colour shade. The interior is a distinct shade of avocado too.
This is a colour trial piece – the finish was difficult to produce and probably the cerise finish was easier and more uniform in its finish, so we believe that this is a unique example.
Spring suspension on spun wheels, swivelling jewelled headlights, and plated fittings. Fine original tyres.
Occasional minor mark/rub.
The picture box is complete and bright with a crisp feel – light age/handling wear.
