Dinky Toys 104 Captain Scarlet's Spectrum Pursuit Vehicle

This Gerry Anderson model inspired by the t.v. series ‘Captain Scarlet & The Mysterons’ is in outstanding, original, virtually mint condition, carefully handled and stored.
This version has a pleasing metallic blue finish, with original figure of Captain Scarlet and firing front rocket. Spare rocket present.
Early style decorative transfers and paper labels, and the Captain Scarlet mechanism functions well. White bumper and deep grey base.
2nd issue with white plastic cover on the door release mechanism on the roof.

The brightly-coloured pictorial inner card plinth is an excellent backdrop for the model. Vivid fresh card and day-one bright colours on crisp card. Couple of small wheel slot tears caused by movement of the model in the box.

Instruction Leaflet still present.

Nice to see the blue card packing ring is still present.
With two firing rockets.
Large pictorial outer box impresses with bright colours on fresh, intact card. Light wear.
One of the nicest examples we have seen in a long while.
