Notes
First issued during 1969, this version is in deep red finish with white doors and red spot wheels, racing number 30. Nice all complete, unused, authentic example with both aerofoils, detailed engine, spare wheel, spring suspension and jewelled rear lights. Perfect racing numbers on bonnet and both doors too!
A couple of small (factory) marks near the blue glass boot area and a tiny dot at a wheel arch. It comes with a shop-fresh window box with three labels proclaiming the revised specification (red spot wheels). Original cellophane is smooth and intact.
Box can only have been opened just a couple of times ever – the end flaps are so crisp they are difficult to prise open! Beautiful day-one bright colours and a couple of small areas of surface removal i.e. one at the edge of the original shopkeeper’s price at an end flap and a tiny nick at the yellow over-sticker above the cellophane window. Both are minor and barely detract. Serrated area of the inner card at one side has been separated but all complete.
Model displays superbly – especially with those ‘red spot’ wheels!
